The endless open space of the prairie, longhorn cattle and a loud "Yee-Haw". Despite its eventful history, the U.S. state of Texas today stands for a glorified Western idyll. In the 19th century, the Texas Tooth Pick knife was widespread, especially among farmers and daring soldiers of fortune. As a further development of the Navaja knives brought by the Spanish settlers, the Texas variant has a strikingly long blade and a generally slim design. These features predestined the Texas Tooth Pick for a variety of tasks. From agricultural purposes such as taking samples to determine the quality of fruits and vegetables, to filleting fish, to the adrenaline-fueled duels of daredevil duelists, the gentleman's knife covered a wide spectrum. Boker Plus reinterprets the popular design and provides the Texas Tooth Pick with the usual innovative performance. The flipper opens the ball-bearing VG-10 blade with Hairline finish silky smooth and spurs the daily cutting work. In contrast to its historical model, the gentleman's knife is reliably locked with a liner lock and thus significantly increases its suitability for everyday use. The curved handle scales are made of exquisite cocobolo wood and ensure a perfect hand position as well as a classic look. The milled clip tip-up (r) has a stonewash finish. Comes with a touch of the Wild West.
